Day 01 … – Lima

Upon your arrival at Lima Jorge Chavez international airport you will be met by our local agent and transferred to your accommodation, located in Miraflores the nicest area of Lima.
Overnight in Lima – At your Selected Accommodation (B)

Day 02 Lima – Cusco

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Lima’s Airport to board the flight.

In the morning day off to relax
13:30: this afternoon your guide will pick you up from your hotel and show you the highlights of Cusco, the colonial cathedral, the great temple of Korikancha and the 4 impressive Inca ruins around Cusco: Sacsayhuaman the giant boulders of the Royal House of the Sun, Qenko the rock outcraft which used to be the temple of the Mother Earth, Pucapucara an Inca lodging Site and Tambomachay known as the Baths of the Inca.

Day 03 Cusco

Breakfast at hotel. Day off por personal activities. Overnigh in Cuscot. (B)

Day 04 Cusco – Machupicchu – Cusco

Cusco to Aguas Calientes by car and train will take you an average of 03:50 hours in total to get there but once again you will take a short bus journey to Machu Picchu, it’s just half an hour. You will have a guided tour of the most amazing and mysterious of all Inca Sites, you will learn about the history of this site, who lived there?, how was it discovered in modern times and why the Spaniards never found it?, but the main question is what’s Machupicchu for?. There are many answers but the pretty admissible one has been written by Jesuit priest Bernabe Cobo, writing in 1654, one hundred years after the conquest as a kind of “Shrine”, the shrines of Cusco’s sacred landscape; some were natural feature of the land, such as springs, rock outcrops, caves and lakes: others were constructed sites such as houses, walls and water channels which were associated with events in inca mythology; but not only this there are many theories proposed by local and stranger scientists. You will have some insight into the various features of the city and after that, you will have some free time to really enjoy yourself alone in this spectacularly located site, one of them is the unfinished Inca Bridge built on the cliff and the Sun Gate a wonderful angle to take lovely pictures of it. A lifetime experience that will stay with you forever! After enjoying Machu Picchu, you will board the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch before the train journey to Cusco.
Afternoon: Train and bus journey back to Cusco.
Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be transferred to your Hotel.

Day 05 Cusco – Puno

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the bus station to board the bus to Puno. The ride, which takes approximately 08 hours, you will visit the Little Chapel of Andahuaylillas, Archaeological Center of Raqchi (Wiracoha´s Temple), buffet lunch in Sicauni. Then, visit La Raya (highest point on the route 4,335 masl, where Cusco (Qechua culture) and Puno (Aymara culture) join and Pucara. Arrival and transfer to selected hotel. Overnight. (B,L) Puno: 3,827 masl

Day 06 Puno – Titicaca Lake – Puno

Breakfast at hotel. Titicaca lake, the most sacred bady of water in the Inca empire, has a surface area of 8000 square kilometers or 3100 square miles, is the highest navigable lake in the world. It shelters more less 30 islands and one of them, the pretty one, is Uros or the Floating Islands of Uros, which is inhabited by the old Aymara people. These people have kept their traditions and customs generation after generation. In the afternoon, you will visit Sillustani Chullpas, it’s located at 35 km or 21 miles away from Puno, the age of the funeral chambers, which are up to 40 feet or 12 meters high remains in puzzle but a Spanish chronicler described them as recently finished in 1549, it´s one of the largest archeological areas in America. These impressive burial monuments were  used by Aymaras to bury their important leaders. Return to the hotel.

Day 07 Puno – La Paz

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Copacabana Sanctuary and city tour, then transfer to the pier to board the Catamaran Cruise to visit the Sun Island. The next port is the Complex of IntiWata which also includes navigation on a typical huge Totoral raft and a panoramic visit to Inca Palace at Pilcokaina. In the meantime, you will enjoy a buffet lunch on board. Arrival to Chua port and transfer to La Paz city. Reception and overnight. (B,L)

Day 08 La Paz

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, you will be collected from their hotels in order to visit the famous market of Las Brujas (the Witches) and the colonial church of San Francisco. The journey proceeds towards Plaza Murillo where the Metropolitan Cathedral is located, as well as the Government Palace and the Parliament. Then you will visit Jaen Street where the most important museums are concentrated. Changing the scenery, the walk continues towards the residential zones of Obrajes, Calacoto and The Florida. The walk ends with a visit to the spectacular Valley of the Moon. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ruins of Tiwanaku which was the capital of an ancient civilization located only 76 km from the city of La Paz. During its days of glory, Tiwanaku was the main ceremonial center and cradle of the Andean culture. These pre-inca ruins started off a series of archaeological debates. According to tests with carbon 14, the beginning of this culture would be circa the year 1580 AC. You will visit the Kalasasaya’s Temple (Sun), the Puerta del Sol, the Semi-underground Templete, Akapana’s Pyramid as well as the museum where a very impressive collection of objects and instruments of ancient civilizations are on permanent display. Return to the hotel. Overnight. (B)

Day 09 La Paz – Flight to your Home

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to board the international flight. (B) Check Out: 12:00hrs
