ITINERARY:
Pick up from your Hotel at 04:45 am. We will begin our adventure to the Humantay Lake with a 4.30-hour-drive in a private car to Soraypampa located at (3850 m.a.s.l.) Soraypampa is a beautifull campsite on the Salkantay trek. On the way up we will have a delicious breakfast in the car before beginning our trek. In Soraypampa we will start our trek up to the Humantay Lake (4200 m.a.s.l.) with awesome views and if the day is sunny enough, we can see the impressive snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay. It is a 1.30-hour-walk to the lake with a low to moderate difficulties. It is also possible to hire a horse or mule if you felt tired with the altitude sickness. We will have enough time to take pictures the second one snow capped mountain known as Salcantay 6,278 m.a.s.l. and for our intrepid one to take a swimming in the freezing lake, it’ll come in true really good. After some free time, we will descent to Soraypampa of about 1.30 hours. In Soraypampa, the camp base, the lunch will be ready for us and after some rest we will return to Cusco. Arriving time to Cusco at 6 p.m

8.45 – 10.45 Trekking to Laguna Humantay
10.45 – 12.15 Free time
12.15 – 13.45 Trekking back to Soraypampa
13.45 – 14.45 Lunch in Soraypampa
14.45 – 18.00 Soraypampa – Cusco
