DAY 1: (CUSCO – LARES – WACAWASI).
Our car will pick you up from your hotels and will take you toward Lares town (3 hours approx.) during the trip we will observe colorful landscapes and small andean towns. At the arrivel to Lares town, we will drive some few minutes more to the hot spring (3250 masl. /10662ft), place where we will enjoy relaxing hot springs, temperature range from 28ºC / 82.51ºF to 34ºC / 93.20 ºF, at the swimming pool. After lunch we will start hiking to Wacawasi (3600 masl. / 11810 ft ) this hike will take about 3 hours there we will have dinner and spend the nigth.
DAY 2: (WACAWASI – IPSSAY PASS – PATACANCHA).
After breakfast, we will continue hiking, this day will be harder, since we will go in ascend for 4 hours from 3600 masl. 11810 ft to the Ipsay pass (4400 masl. / 14435 ft ), after a brief stop we will have lunch and then continue our journey, observing in the route small villages, inhabited by farmers of the zone who in spite of the time even maintain the andean customs, practicing natural agriculture and the elaboration of textiles very showy and colorful. Later we will descend down to Patacancha village (3800masl/12467ft) where we will have dinner and encamp at this place.
DAY 3 (PATACANCHA – WILLOQ – PUMAMARCA-OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES).
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will start hiking down throughout the route; we will visit a small andean towns, such as Willoq (3600masl/ 11810ft) and Pumamarca (3400masl/11154ft) very famous for preserving their ancient customs. After we walk for 4 hours, lunch on the route, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo (2850masl/9350ft) important village built on an inka town that owns one of the most important archeological sites at the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Late in the afternoon ride down to Aguas Calientes Town (2050masl/6725ft) to make the overnight there or spend the night in a hostel
DAY 4: (AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO).
After the early breakfast we will take the bus toward Machupicchu, the ride takes 25min, once in Machupicchu we will start visiting the most important places at Machupicchu with the tour guide for about 2 ½ hours, then you will have time to take pictures, explore it by yourself. After this, we have to return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch on your own and take the train back to Cusco, arriving approx. at 9:00pm and transfer to your hotel.
